With the exception of the Partnership, several otherwise autonomous programs and organizations are affiliated with the consortium through varying arrangements.

The Five College Public School Partnership Program was established by the Five Colleges as a vehicle for developing lasting ties with schools in the region.

Historic Deerfield, Incorporated has been affiliated with Five Colleges, Incorporated since 1985 as means to promote the use of Deerfield's collections and museums for research into Early American history and material culture.

The National Collegiate Inventors and Innovators Alliance (NCIIA) was established by the Lemelson National Program in Invention, Innovation. Based at Hampshire College, NCIIA has been affiliated with Five Colleges, Incorporated since it was created six years ago.

The Five College Learning In Retirement Program, which is entirely self-supporting, receives bookkeeping assistance and occasional use of meeting space from Five Colleges.
