By now, you're probably wondering about the yurt and the kritosaurus. These are just two of the unusual sites to be seen around the Five Colleges. The kritosaurus is a duckbilled dinosaur. A fully-mounted standing specimen from Alberta, Canada can be seen in the Hall of Vertebrates in Amherst College's Pratt Museum. A yurt is a typically transportable building structure used by Mongolian nomads. The yurt in the five college area is housed more permanently at Hampshire College, adjacent to Franklin Patterson Hall. Take advantage of
