Five College Jazz Festival wows crowds
An all-day, 12-band jazz festival brought together some 200 musicians from the Five Colleges at UMass Amherst’s Student Union Ballroom on February 23. Among the acts were a vocal ensemble from Mount Holyoke, an improv orchestra from Hampshire and the Five College jazz faculty, which kept the audience entertained during a brief power outage.
