More and more visitors are discovering what locals have known for
a long time: This is a great area to summer in, far from the madding crowds of either the Cape or the Berkshires. Splendid exhibitions, exciting theater, and a variety of musical performances light up the calendar and pair nicely with leisurely hikes and biking tours or strolls in the country.
