September 2008
Saturday/Sunday, September 20-21, Camping Trip with 5PAN! to discuss about the future of 5PAN as a group and how we can come together again as an organization to pursue/promote awareness of APA issues both on and off our campuses.
October 2008
Thursday, October 2, there was a 5 College APA Reception at the 5 Colleges Inc., where there was a meet and greet session with faculty and students who are interested in pursuing the APA Certificate Studies Program.
Monday, October 6, in Paino Lecture Hall from 7-8:30pm, Amherst College was hosting a lecture called "Monsters, Messiahs, or Something Else?" featuring Eric Hamako talking about Mixed Races in Sci-Fi movies.
Tuesday, October 28, in UMass Campus Center, there was a movie screening of "Vincent WHO?" to remind students who Vincent Chin was .. and essentially ask the question: How far has Asian America come in the past 26 years? Director Curtis Chin was there to do a Q&A session after the screening.
November 2008
Wednesday, November 5, in Amherst College's Campus Center-Friedmann Room, there was a lecture given by Sujani Reddy talking about the conflicts between Asian Americans and African Americans in the past and present. Instead of looking for conflict, Reddy urges us to look for past solidarity within both minority groups as a way for us to come together. The event was called "SeOul Food Night," which was hosted by the Amherst Students Association, Korean American Student Association, and the Black Student Union.
March 2009

lectures by Frank Wu and Jeff Chang at Amherst College (contact: Phuong Vuong)
performances by Kristina Wong and Slanty Eyed Mama at AC (contact: Karen Cardozo)
an exhibit and symposium on the killings resulting from U.S.-backed anti-terrorism campaign in the Phillippines, as well as other lectures by Martin Manalansan and Robyn Rodriguez (contacts: Richard Chu and Nerissa Balce)
