Five College Asian/Pacific/American Studies

Five Colleges, Incorporated

Five College Asian/Pacific/American Studies

Faculty from each of the Five Colleges, representing several disciplines, offer courses in Asian/Pacific/American Studies. Together they oversee the Five College Certificate Program in Asian/Pacific/American Studies. This program allows students to pursue a coherent course of study in Asian/Pacific/American Studies and to receive transcript recognition of their successful completion of the program.

In addition, faculty meet regularly with colleagues from the five institutions to discuss new scholarship relating to the experience of Asian/Pacific/Americans in the Five College Faculty Seminar on Asian/Pacific/American Studies.

The co-chairs of the Five College Committee for Asian/Pacific/American Studies are Joshua Roth, Mount Holyoke College, Associate Professor of Anthropology; and Kimberly Chang, Hampshire College, Associate Professor, Cultural Psychology.
