This page on CISA's website is reserved for announcements of events, workshops, performances, and other resources in the Pioneer Valley related to immigration research, scholarship, activism, and justice. We have established the page to serve as an information clearing house, and will post academic, community, and related not-for-profit announcements as we receive them.

We are particularly interested in events leading up to the Western Massachusetts Social Forum (Herter Hall, University of Massachusetts Amherst, April 14-15, 2007) and to May 1st, 2007 events which recognize and extend the national action for immigrant rights that took place last Spring. We will, however, consider all announcements we receive.

To post an announcement, please send the details of purpose, time, place, and contact information to Lisa Henderson, CISA Director, at lhender@comm.umass.edu. If we receive an announcement we cannot post, we will correspond directly with the sender.
