Donald Carter talk, "Blackness over Europe"

Donald Carter, associate professor in the Africana Studies Department at Hamilton College, will give a talk entitled "Blackness over Europe: Meditations on Migrancy, Culture and Belonging,” at 7:30pm, April 6, at the UMass Campus Center, Rm 917.

He is the author of States of Grace: Senegalese in Italy and the New European Immigration and the forthcoming Navigating the African Diaspora: The Anthropology of Invisibility.

This lecture is is the last of the year-long W.E.B. Du Bois Lecture Series "Black Europeans: Race and the New Europe."

Please note that lecture is scheduled at a DIFFERENT time than originally announced on the poster distributed in September.
