Course DescriptionTopics course. Designed for students who aspire to study the theory and practice of programs devoted to serving youth and how they are founded, funded, and sustained. We will examine theories that explain the factors that perpetuate the achievement gap and explore programs developed to redress these inequalities. This is a course with a service learning commitment. Students will work with youth in Springfield on a youth media project. Dates and times to be announced.
