Basic skills are taken as a given--recording, editing, the creation of cues and cue lists, the ability to begin to translate ideas into sounds. The next two challenges are more abstract: unity of design and communication with directors and other designers. Throughout the semester we will focus on a series of real-world scripts, creating cues for these plays, while focusing on our goals. Instructor permission required. |
