Nicole Kedaroe (Smith MFA Teaching Fellow, 2nd Year) earned her BS magna cum laude in Arts Management and Dance from Franklin Pierce University. She is a native of Boston, MA where she began her Modern dance training at the Boston Arts Academy for Performing and Visual Arts. There she performed and worked with Modern choreographers such as Sean Curran. Through summer intensive training, she has had the opportunity to study with Rebecca Lazier, Victoria Marks, and Marcus Schulkind. Nicole has contributed to the dance community by working administratively with organizations such as Green Street Studios in Cambridge, MA and MoCo Arts in Keene, NH. Nicole is the recipient of the Cleveland Arts Prize 2008 Kathryn Karipides Scholarship in Modern Dance Summer Study. In addition to Modern dance training, Nicole enjoys the techniques of Classical Ballet and Jazz. Hoping to add to the remarkable teaching fellow staff, she also hopes to continue exploring movement and a variety of dance techniques at Smith College while earning her degree.
