    • The Holyoke “Virtual” Library Service has a lot of helpful resources, including information about the Holyoke History Room at the Holyoke Community College library. If you are looking for publications about community work within Holyoke consider visiting the Holyoke Community Archives which has research reports, oral histories, videos, articles, grant proposals, and posters about the city of Holyoke. The library also has an online History Room and Archive

  • Holyoke Unites This community wide coalition works to improve the quality of life for all residences of Holyoke through a process of community engagement.

  • Holyoke Planning NetworkThis group seeks to bring together Holyoke community based organizations, community institutions and local government with the research and educational resources of the region, including those of the five colleges.

  • Holyoke Youth Task Force This group works collaboratively in order to strengthen the voice of youth in Holyoke and advocate for sufficient resources to meet their needs. This is a 10-year old ad-hoc group of youth-serving agencies that meets monthly to discuss city-wide youth initiatives and issues. The website also serves the Holyoke Youth Commission- a group of 15-20 youth ages 13-21 serving the City of Holyoke as youth leaders within government and politics, community initiatives such as clean-up and repair, and youth-led initiatives such as The Holyoke Community Vision Map.

  • Enlace De Familias Enlace de Familias is a nonprofit organization that promotes a community where all families are given the opportunity to improve their quality of life. While the organization does not specifically target a certain demographic, Enlace de Familias serves the poorest families and individuals in Holyoke.

  • Nuestras Raices Nuestras Raices promotes economic, human and community development in Holyoke, Massachusetts through projects relating to food, agriculture and the environment.

  • C.R.U.S.H. Citizens for the Revitalization and Urban Success of Holyoke (C.R.U.S.H.) created a website, “Holyoke’s Social Network”, which provides a space for people to chat, post on forums, blog, and learn about local events and happenings.

  • The Community Outreach Partnership Center This organization aims to target and assist the growing Latino/a and lower-income populations in Holyoke through a variety of outreach and research activities that address specific community identified needs.

  • Environmental Health Coalition
    A grassroots organization that promotes economic, human and community development through projects relating to food, agriculture, and environment.

  • Fathers and Family Network The Fathers and Family Network is part of the Children’s Trust Fund’s Fatherhood Initiative. This network provides information, training, and networking opportunities to human service agencies.

  • Holyoke Food and Fitness Policy Council This coalition of over seventy agencies and community members are improving Holyoke residents’ access to healthy foods and fitness opportunities.

  • Holyoke Mayor’s Office Also located on this site, you can learn about the “Holyoke Mayor’s Industrial Development Advisory” which is composed of corporate leaders, bankers, the Mayor and the City Council President. This groups serves as a Board of Directors to Holyoke's industrial development programs, and develops policy, advise on program direction, address specific issues and serve as the primary liaison between the City and local industry.

  • Pathways to Family Success This group facilitates monthly meetings of education and social service providers with the goal of creating collaborative partnerships to focus on the whole family by building greater coordination and integration of services.

  • JUNTOS: Adult Basic Education Collaborative A group of adult education programs that share the goal of helping adults in Holyoke to get a free high quality education.
