Meeting Notes

05/20/02 3PM Meeting at Five Colleges
Present: S. Brown, J. Schafer, C. Loring, S. Berger, R. Fonfa, J. Jourdain
1. Accepted minutes of last meeting.
2. Agreed to compile a list of ideas for projects.
3. Update on TDNet implementation of TDNet: Jay distributed a copy of the letter of agreement between TDNet and Five Colleges. Jan announced implementation task force meeting scheduled for Wed, May 22, 1-3PM at Amherst. Jan agreed to come back to DEDCC for assistance with implementation as needed.
4. Discussed ideas related to providing unmediated article delivery service among Five Colleges. Will develop a model of what the ideal might be after discussing needs with ILL/Circ people and people setting up the depository. Also will check on possible III options. Need to look as different steps in the process: request, management, and delivery and what opportunities for enhancement they all offer.
5. Agreed to prepare a short annual report for FCLC for June 30.
