Meeting Notes

DEDCC 02/13/04 meeting at Five Colleges - notes

Present: C. Loring, M. Billings, S.W. Brown, S. Berger, J. Jourdain

We discussed up-coming changes in the membership of the committee. Our hope is that membership won’t rotate so rapidly that the committee loses its focus and momentum.

We discussed plans for MetaLib implementation. Each committee member agreed to check at their local institution regarding commitment to implement MetaLib this spring/summer as well as identifying who will be involved with the implementation. Training is tentatively scheduled for the week of April 12, exact dates and location TBD.

We discussed the ILS selection process very broadly. We will request that any follow-up demos by vendors include demos of their DOM capabilities. Feedback on CSL/FS/DOM, Reports, Miscellaneous, and General Features is due back to Stephanie by Feb 23.
