Coursework

The Five College Coastal and Marine Sciences Program offers students enrolled in the five colleges an interdisciplinary curriculum including coastal and marine ecology/geology, resource management and public policy, oceanography, and coastal engineering. Faculty from both natural and social sciences teach courses in the program. The disciplines represented include biology, botany, chemistry, ecology, food science, forestry and wildlife management, geography, geology, physics, and zoology in the natural sciences, and government, public policy, and economics in the social sciences. (None of the colleges offers a major in Marine Science, but Smith College does offer a minor.)

several courses were added. Check here to see if your courses are approved for the certificate.

This master list may include some courses that are not currently offered.
