Five College Sustainability Studies Welcome to the Five College Sustainability Website! NEW: Blue Sky Brainstorm: Envisioning Sustainability for the Five Colleges and Beyond The Five College Board of Directors invites suggestions, ideas, or fully developed proposals for new and improved sustainability initiatives. Everyone is welcome to brainstorm ideas for incorporating sustainability into the campuses, the Five College consortium and the community. No idea is too big—or small! For more information, read the recent article about Five College sustainability initiatives in the Five College Ink magazine. In September 2010, Beth Hooker joined Five Colleges, Incorporated as their first Sustainability Programs Coordinator. Since then, she has worked collaboratively on the FC sustainability studies certificate program, led an initiative to explore the feasibility of a FC Food and Agriculture Institute, located at Hampshire Farm, and sought funding for various sustainability initiatives.
