The Fall 2017 Extended Training Workshop will take place on Saturday, October 14th, 2017 at Mount Holyoke College. Registration information will be available in mid September.
This is a longer training (ETW) offered once per semester. It is required of all tutors. Taught by faculty from the five colleges and area teachers, the ETW equips you as a tutor with detailed tutoring strategies, ideas for projects and lessons, the opportunity to meet and share ideas with other tutors and to ask questions related to students you are tutoring. The training lasts 5 hours. Coffee and a small breakfast and full lunch are provided. As with the Overview Training, you will be paid for your hours if you have federal work study.
The training will take place in Kendade Hall at Mount Holyoke College and will run from 10:00 AM to 2:45 PM.
Once you REGISTER, you will receive an email with detailed information, including bus directions.
Registration begins around 10:00, and there will be coffee and donuts available at that time in the Kendade Atrium. Introductions of staff and presenters will begin promptly at 10:15 in Cleveland L2
