Strengthening language study
The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation in March awarded $2 million to Five Colleges for support of initiatives to encourage more students to study languages. Over the next five years, Five Colleges will create additional paths for advanced study of languages and for teaching them more effectively. Detailed planning for these initiatives will begin in May.
