Five College Consortium

New express service begins between Mount Holyoke and Smith

Beginning this fall, Five Colleges will offer a new express shuttle service between Mount Holyoke and Smith colleges. The consortium has contracted with Seemo Shuttle to run 11-passenger vans regularly Monday through Friday through the 2015–2016 academic year. The times of the shuttle runs will be slightly different than past years, so prospective passengers should consult a schedule for details.

The fall semester service for this route starts September 8, 2015. There are two Seemo Shuttle stops at Mount Holyoke College, at Blanchard Hall and at the stone shelter on Route 116; and two in Northampton, at Smith College’s John M. Greene Hall and at the Northampton Post Office. Service will continue to be free to students, staff members and faculty members of Five College campuses, who must present a campus ID to ride.

Prospective passengers should check the full schedule of the Route 38 and Route 39 buses for other options, including service weekends and Monday to Friday when the Seemo Shuttle is not in service.
