Jodi Falk Five College Visiting Lecturer in Dance; Coordinator of Community Outreach and Dance in Education


Jodi Falk has been a dancer, choreographer, dance educator and consultant in the arts in education for over 25 years in the US and internationally, teaching students and teachers of students in London, Israel, South Africa, Nicaragua and more. Her work centers on the vehicle of movement and the arts to promote deeper learning, personal growth, community empowerment, and excellence in the discipline of dance. She was the Founding Director of Dance at the Pioneer Valley Performing Arts Charter Public School, the Director of Choreography for several years at the Laban Centre in London where she also designed community-based practices for the Community Dance Post-Graduate Diploma Course, and has been a guest artist-educator for dance companies in urban, suburban and rural school settings. Her work with special needs populations has led her to work with such groundbreaking companies as CandoCo in the UK and Remix in South Africa. Jodi is delighted and honored to work with the students of the Five Colleges and the communities of the Pioneer Valley.
