The Five College Dance Department presents a five-day January term workshop:
Choreography and the Thinking Dancer with Stephen Petronio
The workshop is free and open to all intermediate/advanced level FCDD dancers, and includes five days of classes (January 16-20, 2013), with two classes each day on two campuses, following this schedule:
Technique and Repertory
10 a.m.-12 p.m., Scott Dance Studio, Smith College
Improvisation and Composition
2-4 p.m., Main Dance Studio, Hampshire College
In addition, there will be two evenings in conversation with Petronio, who will reflect on the creative process and screen his repertory works:

Thursday, January 17, 2013, 7-9 p.m., Mount Holyoke College
Friday, January 18, 2013, 7-9 p.m., Hampshire College East Lecture Hall
Priority will be given to students who opt to take the entire workshop (ten classes, morning and afternoon, and evening repertory talks/screenings).
Students opting to enroll in the full workshop may arrange to receive two credits (Dance 305: Advanced Repertory).
