On Saturday, March 31 at 7:00pm in Chapin Auditorium of Mary Woolley Hall on the Mount Holyoke College campus in South Hadley, the FCWSRC is pleased to present “An Evening with Rachel Maddow” reading from her new book, Drift: The Unmooring of American Military Power. Co-sponsored by the Odyssey Bookshop and the Mount Holyoke College Department of Gender Studies.
This is a ticketed event. General admission tickets (for the orchestra level and 1st Balcony seating) are five dollars per ticket and will go on sale on March 1. A limited number of premium seats are available and will include a copy of Drift, guaranteed seating, and priority in the signing line.*
MHC Student Programs has arranged to distribute a limited number of FREE tickets for students (restricted to Chapin's second balcony, one per MHC ID) at 12 noon on Feb. 29 (Blanchard Info Desk). Students are encouraged to purchase the tickets through the Odyssey on March 1 if they prefer other seating.
Partial proceeds from this event will help to support annual workshops and scholarship on women and the media at the Five College Women’s Studies Research Center.
*Rachel Maddow will only sign books purchased from the Odyssey Bookshop, including books that are purchased the night of the event.
