Lisa Kuerzel

Lisa Kuerzel

After teaching fourth grade for four years in Hingham MA, Lisa Austin Kuerzel moved from the South Shore and began exploring different vocations in different locations. The different hats she wore included performing folk musician, nanny, Audubon interpreter, social worker, ESL instructor, and Humane Educator/Adoption Counselor in animal welfare. This was fulfilling but draining work, and Lisa went back to school as a graduate student at UMASS and as a paraprofessional and substitute at various elementary schools in Western Mass.

Lisa is thrilled to be teaching second grade next year at Leverett Elementary School in Leverett, MA where she will be working with a curious and fun group of students.
