Synthetic techniques and experimental design in the context of multistep synthesis. The literature of chemistry, methods of purification and characterization with a focus on NMR spectroscopy, mass spectrometry and chromatography. Prerequisite: CHM 223. Enrollment limited to 15.
Limited to juniors, seniors.
Multiple required components--lab and/or discussion section. To register, submit requests for all components simultaneously.
