This course is designe for students who have successfully completed an introductory course in Community Service Learning. Students will continue exploration of the topic from their introductory course, and will continue a service placement of at least 30 hours in a community organization the same as or similar to their first-semester placement. Reflection on service experience will be a critical componenet of both classroom discussion and written assignments. A research paper or prject will allow students to explore in more depth a question or problem that is significant for them and for the community organization with which they are working.
PreReq: SRVCLNG 293 or Hon292S Students who do not meet the prerequisite may enroll with permission of instructor.

Learning through Community Engagement. Students will continue exploration of a topic from their introductory course and will continue their Service placement. A participatory action research project will allow students to explore in more depth a question or problem that is significant for them and for the community Organization with which they are working. Please contact Student Bridges or the Instructor to obtain information to enroll in the class. Students can enroll in the class only with permission. If you enroll in the class without the permission of the instructor, you can be dropped out of the class without notice.
