Japanese 492C - S-Edo Pictorial Fiction

Course introduces students at the high intermediate level of Japanese to premodern texts and script. Course focuses on pictorial texts of the Edo era (1600-1867), covering the basics of classical grammar and hentaigana from a range of popular texts.
