This course is about cultural diversity in the University community and how we can better understand ourselves and others through an appreciation of college education as a cultural experience, with its own unique set of rules, biases, and expectations. (Gen. Ed. I, DU)
The traditional Discussion Sections, that are part and parcel to most large lecture courses like 115, is being replaced by Team and Problem Based Learning Labs. During Lab time each week, students will work within a team to take the concepts learned during the lecture and apply them to real-life scenarios, in order to see how these concepts are experienced in the real world.
Multiple required components--lab and/or discussion section. To register, submit requests for all components simultaneously.
Permission is required for interchange registration during the add/drop period only.
