An introduction to the interdisciplinary field of physical activity and public health. Topics will include the effects of physical activity on cardiovascular, metabolic, musculoskeletal, mental and cognitive health. Students will be introduced to physical activity measurement techniques and strategies for effective physical activity promotion.
For Kinesiology majors only. KIN 100, 110, 247 w/ C- Eligible Kinesiology juniors may enroll w/permission from instructor
Students should add themselves to the Spire waitlist if class reaches capacity
Permission is required for interchange registration during the add/drop period only.
