An overview of different perspectives and approaches to leadership practice. Goes beyond traditional leadership practices to examine empowering leadership approaches and contemporary leadership challenges.
Prerequisite: Sch-Mgmt 680.
This is a Blended course (combining live and online students) centered on Live Discussion Class Sessions via video conferencing held Mondays from 6:00PM-9:00PM on the following dates: 9/9, 9/16, 9/30, 10/21, 11/4, 11/18. On-line students are required to virtually attend live and participate in the last 4 live classes (these sessions focus on live case discussions and include your team's case discussion leadership and presentation dates as well as other live case discussions led by other teams). The rest of the class you will be working with your team and on your own to complete course assignments.
