Probability: Experiments, models and probabilities; conditional probability and independence; single discrete and single continuous random variables; Gaussian random variables; expectation; pairs of random variables; random vectors; sums of random variables and the Central Limit Theorm. Statistics: Parameter estimation and confidence intervals; hypothesis testing, estimation of random variables.
Open to PRE-ENGIN, Electrical Engineering, and CS-ENG students only. E&C-ENG 201 and 202 This course has a pre-req of E&C-ENG 201, 202 or 210. If you are a Junior and do not meet this pre-requisite, but have taken E&C-ENG 313, you will be eligible to take the course. You can enroll in the course in a couple of weeks. In the meantime, please contact the department to let them know you are interested in enrolling the course.
