While the subject matter of each section is different, the requirements for each section are the same. Individual titles and descriptions of HONORS 391AH sections can be found on the Commonwealth Honors College website.

Open to Senior, Junior, and Sophomore Commonwealth College students only. Independent Projects in Film, Photography, Video and Installation

This course provides an opportunity for students in film, video and photography and related media that wish to pursue their own work, creating at least one completed new project. The members of the workshop will provide critical, technical and crew support for one another during presentations. Team projects are supported as long as each participant has a distinct and responsible role in the making of that work. Prior to joining the workshop, students must have some level of mastery over their medium. Readings, screenings and museum/gallery visits, which address the specific problems faced by class members in developing the works-in-progress will unpack the conceptual process of creating and realizing new works. Active feedback is required under the guiding principle that tracking each other's intellectual and creative process will help each person develop their projects.

Permission is required for interchange registration during the add/drop period only.
