This course aims at reducing graduation anxiety by helping students figure out and prepare for their next phase. Small action steps written in weekly journal assignments bring self-designed short and long-term career goals into reality. This personalized approach allows each individual to create their own unique plan; be it in the area of work, graduate school, travel, etc. The class will also emphasize the practical skills and knowledge necessary to succeed. Homework assignments include activities around; internship/job search, professional resumes and cover letters, informational interviewing, leveraging LinkedIn, interviewing, and salary negotiation. Recent graduates and alumni will be invited to class to share their personal career steps and advice as well. You don't have to tackle this alone- come join us and we will do it together!

Open to juniors and seniors in the School of Public Health and Health Science (SPHHS).
