This course focuses on student dialogue about issues of difference, identity and community to facilitate intergroup understanding. Students actively engage, read about, and examine social justice issues in small groups. Gen Ed (SB, DU)

This multi-section course engages students in dialogues about issues of difference, identity, and community in small co-facilitated sections. This semester the general focus of the course will be on DIALOGUES ACROSS AND WITHIN RACE AND ETHNIC IDENTITIES FROM MULTIPLE PERSPECTIVES.

Once students enroll in the class, they will be asked to complete a placement form and select a topic specific of their preference. The first meeting of this course will be on THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 12th and goes until THURSDAY, NOV. 21. This course also meets on SATURDAY, October 5th from 9AM to 5PM. Students must be able to attend the Saturday session to enroll in the course.
