In this course we will explore the Michael Chekhov Technique - a psycho-physical approach to acting that seeks to ground emotion in physical gestures. The technique creates a joyful and freeing connection between the inner response evoked by a physical action and its outer expression. In simpler terms, the Chekhov Technique links physicality and movement to emotion, so an actor can stay completely present - and be free to experiment and play - while onstage.
