The course will apprentice new doctoral students to the practices in which researchers interested in the intersection among the fields of language, literacy, and culture approach the scholarly activities of second language, bilingualism, world languages, reading, and writing research.

This course is intended for doctoral students entering the LLC program but is open to others with special permission from the instructor.
