This course focuses on the historical and multicultural roots of the sustainability framework within a global context, critically examining interrelationship of ecology, economy, social equity, and community engagement as they have influenced divergent changes in quality of life across time and space, natural as well as human. Open to SUSTCOMM majors and all freshmen and sophomores. Open to freshmen, sophomores, and Sustainable Community Development major. Others can take it with instructor permission.
