UMass Dance and FCDD Welcome Erica Wilson-Perkins to the Faculty
The UMass dance program and FCDD welcome Erica Wilson-Perkins as Guest Artist in Jazz Dance and Choreography for 2013-14. Erica received her BFA in Dance from Columbia College in South Carolina and MFA in Dance from Florida State University. She has served as full-time faculty at the University of Illinois, Wayne State University and Columbia College Chicago, and is the founder of CounterGroove Dance Company, which spawned such notable choreographers/dancers as Sonya Teyah (SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE) and William B. McClellan (Dayton Contemporary Dance Co.).
