History 495 - History Thesis: Fall, E cycle

This course is available for E cycle History Department Thesis Writers for thesis credit in their final fall term, and culminates in one or more pieces of historical writing which may be submitted to the Department for a degree with Honors.

Open to E seniors upon permission of the thesis advisor. Fall semester. Taught by the thesis writer's department faculty thesis advisor.

Students who enroll in this course will likely encounter and be expected to engage in the following intellectual skills, modes of learning, and assessment: Senior honors work requires independent research, including the framing of a research question, identification and analysis of relevant primary and secondary sources, and writing of a thesis of significant length.
