History 498D - History Thesis Workshop and Fall Research
This course is for history thesis students on a regular (non-E) cycle, and allows for a double thesis credit in the fall term of senior year (thesis workshop + time to work on thesis ). If a thesis writer takes this in fall term, it will be followed by HIST-499, which is a single thesis credit, in spring.
Please note that all students enrolled in this course must also request to audit HIST-498 in order to have access to the Thesis Workshop Moodle page.

Students who enroll in this course will likely encounter and be expected to engage in the following intellectual skills, modes of learning, and assessment: Senior honors work requires independent research, including the framing of a research question, identification and analysis of relevant primary and secondary sources, and writing of a thesis of significant length.
