Topics to be discussed include: Platonism about time, the topology of time, if any, the McTaggart Argument, Presentism vs. Eternalism, the nature of the present, the reality of the past, time travel, space-time worms and the four-dimensional view of time
Independent Work Writing and Research In this course, students are expected to spend at least six to eight hours a week of preparation and work outside of class time. This time includes reading, writing, research.
Multiple required components--lab and/or discussion section. To register, submit requests for all components simultaneously.
UNSP-0000 is a recommended corequisite to this course.
