This is a hands-on video production course designed for students to find and develop their own personal voice through moving image work. Through readings, discussions, screenings, technical workshops, critiques and the creation of two films, students will explore traditional narrative frameworks and expand on these frameworks to push the boundaries of the conventional film narrative. This course will cover all stages of pre-production including, lookbooks, storyboards, shot lists, casting, screen tests, location scouting and production scheduling. Students will contribute to one group film and will create one individual film. Lab/Materials fee:$ 65 Students should expect to spend 6-8 hours weekly on work and preparation outside of class time
