Theatre Arts 205 - Acting

'An highly interactive course, focusing on scene work, using the Stanislavsky approach to acting. Classes include preparation exercises leading to the relaxation, concentration and imagination of the actor. Practical tools explored in the course are designed to offer the student greater vocal, physical and imaginative freedom and clarity as well as text analysis skills. Course includes characterization work and introduces the unique nature of the monologue.'
