Microeconomic theory explores the foundations of;consumer and firm theory as well as their;theoretical applications. We examine the;assumptions of models, market structures, and;explore topics such as game theory and public;goods.
Course limited to sophomores, juniors and seniors; Prereq: ECON-110 and MATH-101.
Students who have taken the International Baccalaureate or A-Level exams in economics should consult the department before registering for the course. The department does not recommend taking this as the first course in Economics.
