Introduces listening, speaking, reading, and writing modern Japanese; hiragana, katakana, and approximately 50 Kanji. Supplements class work with audio and video.
This course is limited to first-years, sophomores, and juniors
No rising seniors during pre-registration. Students must take ASIAN 120 in module 1 (4 credits) and ASIAN-120 in module 2 (2 credits) to receive credit for course (6 credits).
Permission is required for interchange registration during the add/drop period only.
