Computer Science 243CA - Topic: 'Critical AI'

In the last few years, the use of AI models has exploded, causing significant impacts across the globe. But what even is AI? And can it do all the things that people say it can? In this course, students will build the skills required to distinguish between AI fact & fiction by engaging with both the computing principles behind AI models and interdisciplinary perspectives on their development and use. Coursework will include weekly readings, reflective writing, creative projects, and in-class discussions.
