Quantum chemistry: the electronic structure of atoms and molecules, with applications in spectroscopy. An introduction to statistical mechanics links the quantum world to macroscopic properties. Prerequisites: 224 or 118, and MTH 112 or MTH 114. MTH 212 orPHY 210, and PHY 115 or 117 are strongly recommended.
