A more mathematically advanced version of PHY 115 for students with more extensive mathematical experience. Prerequisite: one semester introductory calculus course on the basic principles and methods of integration and differentiation (MTH 111 or equivalent). Students cannot receive credit for both PHY 115 and 117. Enrollment restricted to first year students, with sophomores and juniors admitted from the waitlist.
Multiple required components--lab and/or discussion section. To register, submit requests for all components simultaneously.
