Same as EGR 319. A study of the occurrence, movement and exploitation of water in geologic materials. Topics include well hydraulics, groundwater chemistry, the relationship of geology to groundwater occurrence, basin-wide groundwater development and groundwater contamination. A class project involves studying a local groundwater problem. Prerequisites: 101, or 102, or 108, or FYS 103 and MTH 111. Enrollment limited to 14.
