Topics course.: Recently there has been a surge in our understanding of the biochemical and molecular bases of neurological disorders. This seminar will explore how protein misfolding relates to a number of neuronal diseases, for example spongiform encephalopathies (e.g. 'mad cow'), Lou Gehrig's, Alzheimer's and Parkinson's.  Pre-requisite: BIO 202 or 230.
Not open to first-years, sophomores
