A semester of experiments in electronics, with emphasis on designing, building and trouble-shooting circuits. Discrete electronic components: physics and applications of diodes and transistors. Analog and digital IC circuits: logic gates, operational amplifiers, timers, counters and displays. Final individual design project. Prerequisite: 118 or permission of the instructor. Enrollment limit of 14.
Multiple required components--lab and/or discussion section. To register, submit requests for all components simultaneously.
